Cylindrical roller bearings are only partly suitable for transmitting axial forces? This opinion no longer applies to the new X-life cylindrical roller bearings with optimized rib contact.
New calculation methods and the optimized manufacturing methods make this possible. The permissible axial load has been significantly increased and may now be up to 60% of the radial load. The frictional torque under axial load is reduced by up to 50%.
